If you hire me as game-master for your group, or you play in a game I am running, I agree to the following rules.
No physical violence at the table
No bullying, abuse or harassment of any player
No racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism or bigotry that isn't explicitly within the confines of the fictional story.
No slurs (unless actively reclaiming it as a part of the marginalised group the slur is referring to and everyone at the table is comfortable with my using it)
Respect the lines, veils, conditions and boundaries set up by everyone at the table
Communicate my own lines, veils, conditions and boundaries to everyone at the table
Speak up if at any point I feel uncomfortable with another player or game content
Respect player agency
Avoid interrupting anyone else and avoid 'cross-talk' (talking across one another, particularly in online games)
I never use large language models/AI at the table or for the game (i.e. no use of ChatGPT to produce art or write any material)
Arrive to sessions promptly and prepared
Deliver a bespoke and personal experience
Do everything I can to make your game as fun as possible
All of these are to ensure the core tenets of safety, enjoyment and storytelling. This agreement is paired with the player agreement that all players are expected to follow.
